Us
| The Strawberry Dragon Zendo is a Buddhist outreach program that provides services and resources tothose individuals who by illness, physically challenged,poverty or incarcerated are unable to participate within a traditional religious structure. It's purpose is not to convert but to reach out and touch the suffering of others in the sprit of Kwan Yin Bodhisattva. The spirit of the Zendo can be found in the prisons, hospices and on the reservations of our Native American People. |
The Work

The Zendo's work currently reaches from hospitals and prisons to our
Native American children. The people and organizations that the zendo
supports rely on volunteers, and child sponsors as well as support in
the form of financial donaitons and materials. Futures for Children :is a program that addresses some of the needs of the children of the Southwest by providing support through the sponsorship of a child. The Strawberry Dragon Zendo encourages people to investigate this program and participate. The smile of a child is a song in the world so let us make music. The zendo currently maintains lists of Buddhist clergy that can be called upon when needed at local hospitals and hospices to serve those individuals requesting Buddhist services.
